This Conflict of Interest Policy is designed to ensure that the interests of our employees, tutors, and other stakeholders do not compromise the trust and objectivity required to provide high-quality tutoring services. All individuals associated with our organization are expected to adhere to this policy.
A conflict of interest occurs when an individual's personal, financial, or other interests interfere with their ability to act impartially and in the best interests of Little Lakes Learning and its students.
Identification of Conflicts
It is the responsibility of all employees, tutors, and other stakeholders to identify and promptly disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that may arise.
Individuals who have a conflict of interest, whether actual or potential, must disclose it to their supervisor or us as soon as they become aware of it.
We or an appropriate committee will review and evaluate the disclosed conflict to determine if it poses a risk to the impartiality and integrity of Little Lakes Learning.
In cases where a conflict of interest is identified, steps will be taken to address and resolve the conflict in a manner that is fair and transparent. This may include recusal from specific decisions or actions.
Little Lakes Learning will maintain records of all disclosed conflicts of interest and the actions taken to address them.
Confidentiality and Non-Discrimination
Information related to conflicts of interest will be handled confidentially and shared only with individuals involved in the resolution process.
Little Lakes Learning will not discriminate against individuals who disclose conflicts of interest in good faith or who have conflicts, provided they follow the disclosure and resolution procedures outlined in this policy.
Little Lakes Learning is committed to complying with all relevant laws and regulations governing conflicts of interest, including applicable employment laws and corporate governance regulations.
Little Lakes Learning will provide training and educational programs to raise awareness about conflicts of interest and the importance of adhering to this policy.
