Little Lakes Learning's Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation by the Student

    - Students may cancel a tutoring session without any penalty up to 12 hours before the scheduled session.

    - Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the session will result in the forfeiture of the session fee.

    - To cancel a session, students must contact their assigned tutor or support@littlelakeslearning.ca as soon as possible. 

2. Cancellation by the Tutor

    - In the rare event that a tutor needs to cancel a session, they will make every effort to provide as much notice as possible.

    - If a tutor cancels a session, the student will not be charged, and we will assist in rescheduling the session.

Refund Policy

1. Refunds for Prepaid Sessions

    - If a student has prepaid for tutoring sessions and wishes to request a refund, they may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:    

        - Full refund: If the request is made within 2 days from the date of purchase.

        - Partial refund: If the request is made after 2 days but before 7 days from the date of purchase, a pro-rated refund may be provided.

    - Refund requests must be made in writing or by contacting us and providing proof of purchase.

2. Refunds for Unused Sessions

    - If a student has purchased a package of sessions and has not used all of them, a refund may be requested under the following conditions:

        - Full refund: If the request is made within 2 days from the date of purchase and no sessions have been used.

        - Partial refund: If the request is made after 2 days but before 7 days from the date of purchase, and some sessions remain unused, a pro-rated refund may be provided.

    - Refund requests for unused sessions must be made in writing or by contacting us.

Exceptions

- In exceptional circumstances, such as medical emergencies or unforeseen events, Little Lakes Learning may consider requests for refunds or rescheduling outside of the stated policy. Such requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
